| I just wanted to take a few and give a shoot out to Kyle @ Import Parts Pro. As everyone knows - I needed at the minimum one new #4 rod bearing. The type I needed were swain coated .25MM clevite bearings. No one locally had them or could get them. I made a call to Mark @ SGP and Greg @ Specialty Z - unfortunately no luck. Greg has really come through for me in the past and I figured that would be a "shot in the dark" since he may or may not use clevite bearings (if I remember correctly he doesn't). Greg says - " give Kyle a try " which is what I planned to do anyway but given how late is was in the day - I was trying to take advantage of the California time zone difference for next day delivery. Anyway - I call Kyle - explain to him my time table and predicament. Kyle - shuts down his business ( phone and internet based ) - finds the bearings locally and drives 30-45 mins to pick them up - 1 way I might add. Drives to UPS and sends them next day A.M. delivery and I get them by 9:45 am the next day. Keep in mind that I called Kyle like at 2pm the day prior. THIS IS GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE ! I think that you can't put a value on that kind of service. Three months ago I called Greg about my cracked manifolds at 11pm EST. The next morning I have a set at my doorstep from California to the east coast at 10am. That was without sending my cracket set back ( which I did later ). I know a lot of "hash" has been thrown around on customer service and the like on the net - but I just wanted to share my personal experiences with some of our well known vendors. There are reasons why people say deal with "COZ", "KYLE", "Greg Dupree" and it's because you receive more than just performance parts. You get excellant customer service, performance parts, techincal support, and you develop a general "Z" friend over the years. On top of that - you get to do business with an organization that are top notch professionals. If you have a problem with product quality or service, they are more than willing to fix it and make it right. What more could you ask for? I'm not trying to "uptalk" Kyle or "get my head in his ass" which are terms that seem to be thrown around here when a "thank you" post is made. I simply appreciate the extra mile our vendors go through for us. Kyle - thank you for your help - I will be sending you a check for the bearings tomorrow ! You have my future business !
